Jul 2, 2012 - Melbourne

Well not much to report, we had a rather lazy day yesterday. Sarah (niece) Connor (Nephew) and Rowan (Sarah's boyfriend) took Rilee to the new Harbour Town at Docklands. They said it was a bit average but they all managed to come home with new clothes and shoes. Heard from the Morris's and they are having a good time in Melbourne. Phil said he did a lot of crowd watching today while Trish (AKA Amelda Marcos) went shoe shopping. He said they have found a few good eating places in Melbourne. That comes as No surprise there is a cafe or...

Jun 3, 2011 - Frankston June 1-10

We left Portarlington on the Bellarine Peninsular at 0630 on Wednesday 1st June and caught the 0800 ferry to Sorrento, on the Mornington Peninsular. We travelled up the Peninsular to about 5kms north of Frankston, where we are staying until Friday 10th. The days have been just glorious - no wind and warm sunshine - can't last here in Melbourne though!! Had an afternoon in Frankston wandering the waterfront and the shopping centre, and a very interesting hour or so in an Aldi store - boy! I wish we had that chain at home, the prices are...

Mar 2, 2011 - Days 23 - 24 UPDATE NOTES

Hi All, Well in Victoria and the weather to be honest is awful, it’s been wet, cold, windy and hot. Luckily repair work done on the caravan at Pambula fixed the brakes and the driving was more pleasurable given we could stop the thing again. Our 1st stop in Vic. was Lakes Entrance famous for its boating conditions...
