Nov 27, 2016 - Day 5 Halls Gap to Dunkeld

Overview Saw lots of kangaroos on the ride out of camp today. Rode with jacqui who was much slower up the climbs than me which gave me time to put on my wind jacket part way along. Hands so frozen I couldn't change gears at all for first 15 mins! Fundraiser in school across road from campsite made marshalling a challenge as riders were going in all directions rather than just turning into camp as expected. Aug 15, 2014 - Dunkeld

Well apparently I've been in the "southern grampians" since Casterton. Sure it's hilly but everything is cleared for agriculture... Now I'm at the the southern tip of what must be the northern grampians, and they are wild bush covered mountains and they loom over this little town!!! Dunkeld is a really friendly town with lots of walk trails and fabulous views everywhere you look. Dec 12, 2010 - En route to the Coorong

A Festive Season Road Trip A week off close to Christmas was the best we could manage. Despite being the most senior member of the practice Mark was last to put his holiday preference on the calendar and so we had to wait…until everyone else had been to Port Douglas, Byron Bay,Vanuatu and Queensland.
