It was just too beautiful a morning this morning to even think about leaving, so the day has been spent around the van enjoying the bush, the river and the birds. Ian has even thrown his fishing line into the river - there are certainly fish jumping around (probably (European Carp), but he didn't catch anything. We have taken the dogs for a couple of walks. We went back down to 'Dead End beach' where the small sand island is and they had fun jumping and running in and out of the water. However, most of the day has been spent taking it...

Mar 17, 2017 - Mt Beauty to Cobram

We woke up to the most beautiful morning which made it really hard to get motivated to pack up. We also kept getting interrupted by the people from our neighbouring vans as they stopped by for a chat, so we were a bit slow getting away this morning. However, we did finally tear ourselves away and headed back to Wodonga before a short (and hopefully last for this trip at least) sojourn on the Hume highway before turning off onto the Murray Valley highway. Sep 28, 2010 - Our final stop, Cobram

Sept 28th RACV club Cobram is very well serviced. Very spacious and grassy. Jumping pillow, great playground, basketball and tennis courts, cricket pitch, and even BMX track. Bike path into town. No charge for kids as they are renovating their pool, so effectively half price for us. Not walkable to river, though. Spent much time at the jumping pillow. Kids activity painting boomerangs. We are here for 4 nights. Sept 29th We were very excited today because grandma and grandpa joined us on our holiday again. Guy and Hayden went for a morning...
