Dec 31, 2017 - Staying put in Camperdown

Early start to do some washing on a cool but sunny day. Then a couple of minutes drive down the hill into town to the bakery and Woolworths to do some shopping. It really is a well kept town of a couple of thousand people. Fuelled up as well before having a lazy day back at the van park taking in the views at the lookout and catching up on some R & R after a hectic 7 days. The two lakes surrounding the van park are actually the craters of long extinct volcanoes. In fact all of the lakes around this part of Victoria were once volcanoes.

Dec 30, 2017 - The Great Ocean Road

Early start in the cool with rain on the horizon as we navigated our way out of Melbourne towards Geelong. Knew we were in for a busy day when we saw all the cars heading in the same direction. Pulled up at a Service Centre east of Geelong to fuel up (the head wind was extremely strong). Headed along the Great Ocean Road as did thousands of others!!! All the little beach side towns were very busy - people and cars everywhere. We kept going on through Apollo Bay until we reached the 12 Apostles centre. There were stop/go men everywhere...
