Oct 21, 2016 - Bright and beyond...

21st October - Myrtleford, Porepunkah, Bright and Mt Hotham After a clean out of the van we ventured forth to see what was to be seen. May 10, 2013 - From the beach to the mountains

Leaving Dawn and Les with a promise to visit again on the way home we headed off to tonight's stop at Bemboka before taking on Brown Mountain. Turning off there we headed west to Bemboka at the foot of the mountain. We were going to camp alongside the sports ground and when we arrived there were soccer matches in progress so there were people and cars everywhere. It wasn't long...

We stopped in at Young for coffee and cake and passed through a town called Cootamundra which is the birth place of the cricket legend Sir Donald Bradman. Bridget also said her own name for the first...

Wednesday night as I put Hamish to bed he said that he felt sick in the tummy. Well; I know when Hamish says this to look out and sure enough we were up a few times in the night with a bucket. Then in the morning we had to decide what to do. Do we cut our losses now and try to get to Bright? Should we bring our bugs with us? After talking with Cassandre, we decided to get moving on to Bright. We packed up, complete with...
