Oct 11, 2015 - Bicheno to Freycinet Peninsula

After Cradle Mtn. we had to decide where to spend our remaining 6 days on Tasmania. The Tamar Valley (in the north of Tassie) is famous for the Gorge near, & the town of, Launceston (2nd largest after Hobart), and the food & wine of the Tamar Valley. 22/01 -28/01 -Our next camp is at Freycinyet NP at Friendlies beaches. This one is not costing us anything because of the parks pass and they don’t charge for camping. Did the Wineglass Bay walk today, it was little overcast but that’s good for walking 3 hour return trip along with dozens of other people. Walked down to the Bay and had a picnic lunch, they asked us not to continue the...

Sadly, due to storms, the two main ziplines were out of order for repairs. Nevertheless, we were still able to get the thrill of being suspended high above...

Our Trip Down Under

Jan 7, 2013 - Freycinet

Soundtrack van de dag: The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades van Timbuk 3.
