Oct 5, 2020 - at Withcott

Mon 5th October - at Withcott Easy start to the day on the farm. Verna baked scones (in the caravan) for morning tea - served with jam and cream of course. There’s no roughing it for these seasoned travellers. Late morning, the 4 guys went for a drive in our car along the roads to see the extent of the original property owned by Arthur’s relatives. It was originally 700 acres, most of which was not really usable for cattle especially in dry weather like we have had now for several years. This area does not get good reliable regular...

May 7, 2017 - in Toowoomba - Ah--choo!!!

Sun 7th May Jan developed a bad attack of hay fever at 4am. By 8am she was a proper bundle of misery. Ron even had to go out to buy more tissues. It’s been a long time since Jan had an attack as bad as this. We hunkered down for the day except for the short time Ron went out for a couple of items from the shops and delivered an orchid to a friend. By night time, it was starting to abate. Yaaayyy!!! Consider it forced relaxation!!!!!!!
