Jan 21, 2007 - Fraser Island

We left on 21/01/07 and returned 23/01/07. The sun was shining and just didn't quit the whole time we were there. We had 10 people in our jeep. As you'll see from the pics it was a bit cramped. We decided to miss out Frasers Island & the rest of the...

Fraser Island is a big sand island of the east coast of Australia and is said to be the only place in the world where you still get pure breed Dingo's. You can't swim in the sea because of the Tiger Sharks and have to be careful on land because of the Dingo's, so basically by going to Fraser Island your offering yourself as a fresh piece of meat to either the sharks or dingo's!! We were therefore a bit apprehensive!! We started our trip at 6.30am on Wednesday morning and started at the 4x4 centre in Hervey Bay. We were put into groups and...
