May 12, 2006 - Around Cairns and onto the boat

No alarm clocks this morning as we don't need to be anywhere in a hurry. It is raining so our options may be limited. We organize our bags and get ready to check out of the hotel. We'll get breakfast in town. The rain has stopped! A good sign! When Jeff went to the desk to inquire about storing the bags until the afternoon, the desk staff said "no worries" AND they would deliver them to the wharf as well! Aug 15, 2005 - Diving the Great Barrier Reef

It really is a must do when you're in Australia and best of all, there aren't any big Sharks here! Whilst we've been in Oz we hear about a shark attack every week, thankfully all down south and not where we are, so it was relatively easy to persuade Tracey to get into the water, well after the 3rd degree for the dive instructor anyway. It was a bumpy 2 hour boat ride to the furthest northerly point on the reef you could do in a day trip, oh and with about another 70 people. Jan 24, 2005 - Two country Bumpkins take a trip on the WILD SIDE

Hello Peeps Well we have done so much, now where to start. Ok, we found ourselves in a little town called 1770 ( Named by Captain Cook), stayed in a Hippy Youth Hostel called Cool Bananas. We arrived early morning and by midday we were sat in a four wheel drive, with a wacky driver called 'Roy' ...
