Sep 10, 2011 - Day 6 Longreach to Kynuna

It was another cold night and while all snuggled up in out bed, there was the small issue of bed wetting. At least this gave me a reason to be thankful for the windy weather- sheets all dried in an hour!   All the driving we had been doing was tough on the kids, so after packing up, we took the kids to the Qantas museum. We went on the tour of the 747 from 1979 and the kids had a turn in the cockpit and we had a photo taken of us standing in one of the engines. It was a good first tourist attraction. May 23, 2011 - Kynuna

22nd May. This morning we left Winton on our way to Concurry, what a boring drive , it is grazing country,all the way and there is hardly a tree, more than 3mt high, it is mainly scrub and even that is only in patches. The sighted wildlife this morning consisted of a few wild goats, a family of brolga a bungarra and a family of bustards (bush turkeys). After driving for a couple of hundred klms.
