Jul 19, 2006 - Queensland Coast (20-22/05/06)

Ayant pris un peu de retard sur le programme, nous avons parcouru la côte du Queensland de Cairns à Brisbane à vitesse grand V, en fait en 5 jours. En effet, nous avons profité d'une offre de relocalisation d'un camping-car, pour lequel nous n'avons eu à payer que le carburant. En plus, le temps qui aurait dû être beau en ce début de haute saison, a été assez pluvieux, ce qui ne nous a pas permis de profiter des îles Whitsundays. Apr 16, 2006 - more kitesurfing & a 5 hour trip to CAMILA

Spent the morning doing stuff like the laundry and eating our 3rd subway in a row + Dan bought another pair of trainers! Watched some more kitesurfing but we couldn't really go on the beach as we're noth covered in sandfky bites and the sand makes them itch more. At about 1:30 decided the start the 500km journey north to MacKay, the start of the Barrier Reef. Only made it about 450km though to a tiny town called Camila where we spent the night at a campsite along with praying mantis' after having the greasiest food at a petrol station....

Mar 9, 2006 - Day 20 Townsville - Airlie Beach

We left Townsville and took the tourist route drive to Bowen (very Scenic) in order to finish up late afternoon in Airlie Beach. After searching around for somewhere to park we gave in and stayed at the holiday park there where we met a lovely Dutch couple who we drank the night away with. It rained nearly all night and things did not look good for our Whitsundays 3 day tour!!!

Jan 12, 2005 - Team adventure member trade

With every journey there is good news and there is bad news. Good news is we took an enormous amount of pictures as we experienced things like the Crocadile Hunter Zoo, Many great beaches, being social at pubs, and much more. Bad news most of those pictures left on a flight back to Michigan yesterday and we won't be able to post them.
