22/9/2016 Goondiwindi to Bell We awoke to a lovely sunny day, and went into the town for a look before moving on. We saw the beautiful Victoria Hotel, which is an impressive building, and went inside to have a look, and the girl behind the bar said that if we were in town tomorrow, we could do a tour of the hotel. What a shame that we won't be, as what we saw in the bar area was beautiful, and we'd love to have seen upstairs and more of the hotel. The Council Chambers building is also lovely to look at. Homeless but happy

Oct 14, 2010 - The Bells and Whistles Caravan Park at Bell

The road from Rockhampton inland to Sydney is known as The Country Way. This route is a quieter way to travel, with less traffic, beautiful timbered mountain ranges, pleasant little country towns and altogether a much more enjoyable journey than the coast road. The wet weather across Queensland during September/October had soaked the countryside and everything was very green.
