This drive took forever. But we finally got here. And sure enough... it's a farm. Cows, horses, and chickens. There was even a baby kangaroo and 2 parrots that belonged to the farm. We were given a quick walk tour around the farm. We even got to help with the 'chores'... milk the cows, collect the eggs, feed that calves. Then Sophie and I were the only ones who signed up for motorbikes. Sep 26, 2015 - . . . part 2 - - to Baralaba

Lunch finished so we packed and looked at the pieces of mine equipment before getting the vans rolling at about 2:45 (suspiciously similar to "Gibson travel time" - always late) and we continue onwards from Moura east to Banana and then turn north west to go to Baralaba, our destination for the night. Unwittingly we took a different road to Baralaba from Banana than was intended, but it cut off 2 sides of "triangle" and saved us quite a few kms. May 26, 2008 - Cowboys and Dirt Bike Riding at Myella Ranch

Sun 25 - Tues 27 May - Playing Cowboys in Myella Left Airlie Beach (more movies courtesy of Greyhound - Deja Vu with Denzel Washington, and the delightful Charlottes Web) for Rockhampton - the beef capital of Queensland. So it had to be a mighty steak supper in town, and yet another early night in anticipation of yet another early start in the morning.
