We've had an amazing Holy Spirit weekend at Imagine Nations Church in Penrith with Pastor Jack and Carol Hanes speaking on different nights and Pastor Tom Messer from the US speaking at the services on Sunday. It's truly been an awesome weekend. We all had supper one night with a family who have had an amazing experience with God and deliverance.

May 6, 2014 - Penrith, New South Wales, Australia

This past week has been a roller-coaster ride. We took possession of “Winston,” our new/old little 1997 Australian-made Winnebago motorhome, on Wednesday, April 30. We decided to name him Winston because most Winnebagos we have known were named Winnie, but this one is quite definitely masculine. We knew that as soon as we heard his diesel engine grumble to life on our test drive. Sydney RV Group, the dealership where we purchased the RV, is here in Penrith, and part of the deal was two nights in a nearby “caravan park” (that’s Aussie for RV...

May 4, 2011 - I know that you love me

I wrote this at dawn after reading my bible where someone was questioning if God really loves them. I know that you love me lord... As I feel you in the warmth of the first glint of sun kissing my face, then flitering down to my soul! As i feel your comfort in the arms you send to hold me, feed me, shelter me, and care for me, as i wipe the salty tears from my greif riden face. As i notice the distance sky explode with underscribable sunset colours, reminding me of how blessed ive been to share this moment. as i stand in awe at the...

Apr 21, 2011 - Penrith

Back in Penrith, knew we would be coming home but not quite that fast. We got back here on Wednesday morning at 1.00am and got to see Dad before he passed away later that morning. We got that dreaded call at 6.00am. I'm so glad we decided to go see Dad before we went to Lee's house. I'm still shocked that we only seen dad the day before we left 8 days ago and now he is gone! Once he decided to give up his meds and gave up fighting it didn't take long for him to go. Wednesday we cried a lot and spent most of the day with the family. My...

Students only have 3 days until we leave to go to Tasmania. Most students have started to pack. If you haven't I suggest that you do. Don't forget that if you are not traveling to the airport by train to wait and meet up with the group because everyone has to go as a group. Also don't forget some sort of photo identification card (e.g. drivers license or library card).

Year 9 Camp

Oct 15, 2009 - Not long to go now.......

Here is my first attempt at beginning our travel journal. Now don't panic, we haven't quite left yet. We are still in the process of putting the finishing touches on our set-up and packing up our home, ready for the Pethericks to move in. Reality is beginning to set in as boxes are being filled, clothes are being culled, and Lego models are dismantled into zip-lock bags to be stored. Wow! It has been almost three years since Steve and I decided to take our family on this great adventure. Three years of dreaming, planning, saving, spending,...
