Feb 20, 2011 - Days 13 - 16 UPDATE NOTES
Hi All, After leaving Sydney we went on to Wollongong to surprise friend Barry for his umpteenth birthday and saw other friends as well as Anne’s brother John and wife Margaret. We then went to Ulladulla to see another of Anne’s brothers Dick and his wife Sandra who were on holidays in their caravan there so we stayed in the same park just up from them. Mar 20, 2009 - Staying an extra day.....
The kids were enjoying the place and we were getting some time out...so we decided to stay another night. The girls went to the kids club in the morning and Liam and I went for a walk into town. Whilst we were away Sean took the girls after kids club for a swim in the pool. He then picked Liam and I up and we drove around the town. Mar 18, 2009 - Who draws the short straw to walk 20Km to get petrol!!!!
We left Marlo and drove to Cann River for morning tea. The kids loved the playground and we enjoyed reading the paper with a warm sun shining down on us. We left after an hour (meant to be a twenty minute break) and drove to Mallacoota for a very late lunch. I chatted to a lady who owns a very interesting gift shop, who also has four children, all grown, and her husband who was a crayfisherman who travelled every two years for three months to different places in Australia. She and I both concurred that Robe and Richmond,Tasmania are both...Jump to full entry
Sylvia's Comments. Before leaving Bombala we drove into the town to stock up on food then we took the back road through the small communities of Cathcart and Wyndham. It was a lovely sunny day with bright blue skies, and the countryside looked great. Our journey took us through the South East Forest National Park and over Mount Darroch, another twisting road. I feel the driver will probably have difficulty on long straight roads as he has not driven on many of those recently. We did get some nice views when we went through gaps in the trees...Jump to full entry
