Today we drove through vast farm lands - wheat fields as far as the eye could see. This country is like Saskatchewan on steroids - everything is bigger! As we continued travelling the land became very dry without irrigation. A big contrast between the fields beside the Murray river and those away from the water. The drier scrub land is very popular with emus. We saw many today. The irrigated lands support fruit farms and wheat. We camped in Renmark beside the river.
