Mar 31, 2009 - Jervis Bay and it's surrounds before a terrifying journey
After being woken in the night by a heavy downpour that did not abate we did get some sleep but left early, thinking that daylight saving had finished so thus later!!!! We drove first to Callala Bay where all four, for morning tea, had Mega Muffins!!! I trying to be healthy ha!!! had a banana and some grapes!!! We chatted to the pharmacist that we met and then headed to Currarong on his referral. It was similar to Guilderton except that you drive through a National Park on one side and the Naval Fire range on the other side of the road!!!!...Jump to full entry
Mar 30, 2009 - Berry, Bowral and no it is not Tasmania!!!
We drove to Berry and were delighted by the town and then we headed up the mountain to get to Kangaroo Valley. The clouds were beautiful and when we were above them it was even prettier. We finally made it to the town of Kangaroo Valley, the journey up and down the mountain is on winding, narrow roads that hairpin back on themselves. I needed a coffee but first visited the post office and chatted to the proprietors. We then walked down the road and saw the little school that caters for just over 100, the largest class is 21. Mar 29, 2009 - Shoalhaven Heads...a great cp
We again made record time and left at 9.15am. We drove along Princes Highway to Nowra. Sean thought the sound of a caravan park in Bomaderry sounded more of a tourist park and not the home of many but unfortunately there were only 8 sites for caravans. So we drove into Nowra and had Subway for lunch and I got some Mersyndol as my lower back and my head is killing me.....I need a good nights sleep and some good coffee... We then headed to the coast, Shoalhaven Heads as there were 4 caravan parks in this area. We finally chose the top...Jump to full entry
