Oct 2, 2011 - It's Raining Koalas & kangaroos

Today they changed over to daylight saving so we are now another hour further ahead. ridiculous, we go to bed and set the alarm for 7only to wake up at 8! Very confusing, we feel robbed of an hour of our lives! We decided today we would got to featherdale wildlife sanctuary which is home to all native Australian animals including. Koalas, dingo's, wallabies, kangaroos, wombats, Tasmanian devils etc. One of Colz's to do list on this trip was to see a koala up close. Jan 28, 2011 - Sydney Blacktown

I know that most of my journals begin in the same way but that is also what we do in each new town, so We arrived in Parklea ((Sydney) just before lunch on Wednesday. We set up and Sue and I went for a swim after lunch. After our swim we walked up to the shops and I made an appointment to have my tooth filled on Thursday, come Thursday I had my tooth fixed and then drove to look at the closest railway station for Friday. Jan 19, 2011 - Sydney

We finally left Nowra on Thursday after my stuff up with the car, we drove through Kangaroo Valley and over the oldest suspension bridge in Australia built in 1897 on our way to Goulburn. Another cold wet city, after setting up we looked around town and had my photo with the Big Marino. Friday we had a look at the War Memorial and in town Belmore Park, afterwards we looked around the town.
