We didn’t get off as early, because there was a storm last night and we heard lots of branches coming down on the roof. I hopped up on the roof and was quite surprised to see only a few small branches. There was basically no rain with the storm.

The drive was easy – we called the RV park to find the best way to navigate Amarillo, as in past years there has been lots of construction. The suggestion was to take I-27 into town, connect with I-40 west and get off on Soncy street. That was the best and easiest route we have ever had to get to the park. We quickly set up and headed to the Chevy service, where we had made an appointment. Our Check Engine Light, which has been on since we arrived in Junction, went OFF on the way to the service department. The tech checked, told us they needed a part that they did not have, but would overnight the part – to arrive sometime tomorrow. We cannot stay. Sooooooo, we were assured there were no problems that we could not get fixed in Jackson. We left – fueled and got ice at Walmart, while I went in and purchased some breakfast sandwiches. We tried cereal this morning, and that just didn’t work. Got home around 5:15. Dinner was a green salad and left-over Shepherd’s Pie.
