Winter 2019-2020 travel blog

Today we were off and running again before 9:30. Happily it was a little bit warmer, but not much. We headed down and over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and through Virginia Beach. Again the weather was perfect and traffic wasn't an issue at all.

We arrived in New Bern, NC around 2PM. First thing to do was get the water system up and running again. Once that was done, it was still warm enough to clean the windshield. Now we'll actually be able to see out without seeming to be peering through fog. We're on the banks of the Neuse River and again had a fabulous sunset.

We're supposed to stay above freezing overnight tonight, so that will be a welcome change. Tomorrow we head South towards the Myrtle Beach area. We'll probably spend 2 nights there before continuing on the Charleston.

That's all for now.
