yesterday, we were able to establish a schedule, or plan, for our time spent at the orphanage. until now, we have been showing up and spending our time playing with the smaller children, and tossing the frisbee with the older ones. we'll continue to play (we like to play), but we'll also be teaching english to the staff and the kids for a few hours per day. the other day we ran into two american girls on the street who are here to study russian. they are interested in going with us to the orphanage to help us to communicate with the staff, and would also like to volunteer. our russian language teacher is also very excited about going with us to the orphanage to serve as an interpreter. she is russian, and seems to have a heart for orphans. the language barrier appears to be fading away little by little. without a doubt this is an answer to your prayers and ours.
