Sep 18 Temps low 48 high in 70’s beautiful clear day.

Started day at Cornell University visiting their botanical gardens. The campus architecture is really beautiful but the hills are a killer. Anyone that makes it through 4 years at Cornell are going to have very strong legs. Then we drove to 2 of the waterfalls that are on campus. The first was high and wide with just enough water to make it interesting. The next was 300 yards of cascading water, making about 6 smaller waterfalls.

Then it was off to town to get some lunch. After lunch we walked through the downtown shopping known as Ithaca Commons, 3 or 4 blocks with no traffic allowed-it is a very nice area. Next a stop at Panera Bread to use the computer and it was home again.
