Joanne made some delicious Blueberry Buckwheat pancakes for breakfast. After breakfast we went for a drive to the Belliveau Orchard and I bought some Maple Butter and a Pear Cider they produce. Had never seen Maple Butter, but it is delicious!!!! Then drove further alongside the Bay of Fundy and stopped at the St. Anne church. This church is shared by th MicMaq and the Acadians still today. Here there is also still evidence of the early farming and diking methods the Acadians used when they settled here. Went back to Phyllis and Joanne's and had lunch. After lunch drove from Mememramcook (south of Moncton) to St. Louis de Kent (north of Moncton). We luck enough to get a spot in Coop Daigle Rv Park just across the street from Ethel and Eric's seasonal spot. Eric was going back to Cocgne to take his parents to church, but Ethel stayed and invited us over for supper. We had delicious hamburgers and green salad. We found some firewood laying around the campsite, so we had a campfire. Eric got back around 9:30. It was a beautiful night to enjoy a campfire!!!
Aug. 26, 2019 - Had a lazy morning. Did some housework and updated my diary. Worked on updating the blog, but the internet was so slow it took forever and uploading pictures didn't really work. I made a pot roast for supper for the 4 of us. It was another beautiful night, so after supper had another campfire. Were just heading for bed when the neighbor came over and warned us there a tropical storm heading north.
