Weather has been lows in mid 60's and highs in the high 70's.

Rained the past two nights but was clear during the day long enough to

get a good bike ride in.

Aug 26 we moved up to Adelaide, PA Mile 92 on the trail. Found a KOA, The Rivers Edge,

only $44/night for a 5 way that is a 3 way with cable and 24 flavors of ice cream.

Real disappointed in state campground just a view miles south of here. The state of PA charges $10 for out of state and another $2 to take your money. So stay at a state park electric only and 100 yards of 37% grade to get to the trail for $40 or a KOA with E,W,S,C, and ice cream and great internet and the trail runs right through the middle of the park is a no brainier. Road down hill towards Cumberland first and then up hill back to the park.

Aug 27 Relaxed around camp this AM while it rained. Then went into the town of Connellsvile for some much needed shopping

Aug 28 Road out up hill towards Cumberland and then down hill back to our camper.

The trail so far has been very closed in, some riders have described it as a green tunnel since the trees meet over head in the middle of the trail.

Did see an old wireless tower took a picture.
