Got to love £15 return train fares to London.
Not quite enough tourist type activities last weekend, so back on down this weekend. Touristy activities included the Berwick St market (small), the London Dungeon (hot and unbelievably dull), and went to the musical 'Chicago'. Although musicals not really my cup of tea, still had a enjoyable evening - Chicago was probably a pretty good choice due to the ubiquitous presence of scantily clad dancers throughout the show. The rampant trannie singing in a really bad falseletto was also a crowd favourite!
We also caught up with Tristan (who was in fine form) for lunch.
On the Sunday we went to the Daily Mail Snow Show - which is the biggest snow related trade show in the UK. More for me than Korina, spent several hours drooling over new boards and other toys and entered about 50 different competitions to win ski holidays here, there and everywhere.
The weekend was completed by a Sunday dinner in Chinatown, Soho, where we picked the dodgiest looking Chinese restaurant for a meal. I figured you could adjudge how authentic the restaurant was by the number of ducks hanging up in the window, but that this was also a pretty good indicator of the likelihood of contracting some food bourne illness. Luckily, neither of us has exhibited any symptions of the Asian bird flu, and an enjoyable meal was had by all.
