Today we woke up to rain but that didn't stop Steve. He jumped right in for a morning dip. We went to breakfast. They served traditional breakfast items a la carte: fried eggs, omelets, pancakes, French toast, bacon, toast, fresh juice, coffee. Today is Relaxation Day. Our long list includes stay at the bungalow and swimming, playing board games, kayaking, snorkeling, reading our books. Everyone seemed to whole up and not be out on their decks when a heavy rainstorm began around 11. Not us, we went out and stood in it (we are from Nevada - the desert). This water deluge is heaven to us. Amazingly, we saw a family of three dolphins. I began to video and the dolphins seemed to say hello to us right in front of our bungalow. We were delighted. After that the rain stopped and we took a long kayak trip around the bay next to Punta Caracol. There were many mangrove trees. We did not see much wildlife except a couple of vultures. Time to snorkel next! We spent an hour snorkeling around big orange corals with lots of marine life. It was fun to swim with the schools of striped snapper yellow fish among many other fancy marine fish. The sea urchins and different anemones were amazing. We are winding down our trip. Dinner tonight was tuna steak and lasagna. Time to pack our bags. Tomorrow morning we will depart for Mexico City.
