Hot tub

Our site

Sunday, June 23

We awoke to a bright, sunny day, about 50 degrees.  We gained back the hour we had lost, so left about 7:30 am Quebec time as we only had to drive a little over 4 hours today. We are spending 2 nights in Quebec City, and touring the city tomorrow.  The views were beautiful. From the top of a hill, we could see the huge, gorgeous Grand Lac Squatec. We filled up in New Brunswick at 1.16 per liter and the next gas in Quebec was 1.25. Winds were moderate today, not nearly as bad as yesterday, and sometimes there was no wind.  The roads were mostly good, with some rough parts. Views of the St. Lawrence were beautiful. Flowers alongside the roadways included daisies, some purple ones, buttercups, and only one section of Lupines. There were also some other purple ones, maybe phlox and what looked like Indian paintbrushes at a distance. The temperature in Quebec City was in the mid 70's. It felt hot when the sun was out, then cooler when cloudy and windy. We are at the Quebec City KOA. It is just south of and across the river from the city. It is huge! They first put us at a cute site in the shade and near the office, but it was a 15 amp site and we needed 30.  We are in row X and each row has at least 8 sites and there are other sites and cabins as well. I went to the pool area for a bit. It was really busy. It's heated but there were lots of people in the pool so I used the hot tub. It was not super hot, but plenty hot for the outside temps. We walked around a bit. Wifi is good up by the office. Can't even find it this far away… luckily it's a nice day to walk up to use it.
