I have included in this post at least one picture that represents most of the terrain we saw in each state, so far.

Surprises-

Did you know you can go scuba diving in New Mexico? Well you can. In Santa Rosa, New Mexico there is a place called the Blue Hole. It is advertised as World Famous. I guess because where else can you scuba dive in New Mexico.

Outside of Amarillo, TX is the second largest canyon in the United States. It's called Palo Duro Canyon. We were quite impressed with its color, size and depth. When we thought of Texas before we thought Texas was relatively flat. Who would have thought Texas has a sizable canyon.

The RV park we stayed at has a shuttle to a huge and popular steakhouse. The shuttle was a large Cadillac with bull horns mounted on the hood. The steakhouse is one of those restaurants that offers the 72 ounce steak meal for free if you can eat the entire meal within 1 hour. Needless to say, I didn't even try.
