After dinner mints on the flight to Munich

Amsterdam Central Station

Bikes are everywhere

Nightcap - Cabernet for single malt scotch - and Swiss chocolate

After a LONG flight to Munich, and a shorter flight to Amsterdam, we finally made it. The Amsterdam airport is the largest I can ever remember seeing. It felt like we taxied for miles to get to the terminal, then once inside the terminal, traveled several more miles to the baggage claim area.

The Viking rep was there to meet us as promised and gave us a very comfortable ride into town. Our hotel is just a short distance from the central train station. We bought our 48 hour tram pass, rode a tram for one stop (we could have walked), got out and walked around for a bit and found a place for pizza (only so-so, and the wine was sub par). Since we were running out of gas after a long day of traveling, we went back to the hotel for a nightcap and bed. This wine was so much better.
