Lower Shiplake Lock 51.503 N 0.899 W

We escaped from the Marina yesterday, topped up with fuel up the river (cheaper by atleast 20p per litre than the Marina) and then moored at Tesco and did our grocery shop. Stayed the night there and set off this morning. We pulled up just before the second lock for the night.

Went for a wander around the village of Lower Shiplake where there was alovely garden with lots of crocus flowering, daffodils in the hedgerow and blossom trees flowering, and then sat out in the sunshine and read our books.

The answer to the question about the coloured things and the bull - the coloured straws held bull's semen for the AI man to insert wherever he needed to.!!!!!
