Devil's Punchbowl, Arthur's Pass village

Haven't been to Christchurch for a very long time, so were interested to see changes. Impressed with the designs of the new buildings, especially the library. Zoomed around part of the centre on lime scooters - they're not as stable as Ken's scooter, but lots of fun and a good way to see lots of the place.

Drove for two days over Arthur's Pass - what a lovely drive. Stopped at Kura Tawhiti, an area with interesting rock formations. Lots of people there, making the climb to the top. Stayed overnight at a DOC camp near Arthur's Pass and walked up to Devil's Punchbowl in the morning. Several hundred steps to get to the base of the waterfall.
