Whitney did a fabulous job reading us and our wine needs

End of a perfect day

To continue our day in Temecula, the four of us headed out to do wine tastings in the area.

Our first stop was at the Maurice Carrie Winery. We were taken care of by Krista, a sweet old German lady who could read us like a book as to what wines she thought we may like. We were each allowed 5 tastings and for each of those and each of us she hit it on the head. Bob also bought a loaf of sourdough bread filled with Brie cheese that was delicious. After we were finished we chatted with Krista about her life in Germany and just about life itself. She even poured and extra Port for Lisa and me, and really enjoyed the company of the four of us. It’s a must stop if you’re in the area.

Our second stop was a quick one to Ponte Winery where Lisa, Ann, and I split a 6 tastings card. Bob was a DD from here he passed at this winery.

Bob drove us back to the Inn and we changed as the temp was cooling down but still comfortable. We walked down to the Europa Winery which was part of our Inn. We had a lot of fun working with Whitney. She too could recommend wines that fit our taste. We each had six tastings there. Great time.

Lisa called for a Lyft ride to take us to Blue Water Grill, a seafood restauraunt, and then we took a Lyft ride back. Enjoyed a little tea at the Inn and headed to bed a little early.

It was a very fun day had by all (wine does that to you).
