|We traveled with David up to Stockbridge MA to meet our friend Terry Hains (widow of Jack Hains- Navy buddy) and her friend. We had a nice lunch before going to the Norman Rockwell museum. We enjoyed hearing about his career and his many causes (Bonds during WWII and civil rights). It was a very warm day and they announced that his studio, a short walk from the gallery, would be closed. Undaunted, we walk down there to peer in through the windows (you will see one of the pictures I took). Well, next thing we know there was a guy dashing down to us on a golf cart, "Step away from the building" he commanded. He said we set off an alarm. Evidently it was more serious than we thought... a few minutes later there was fire trucks there making all sorts of noise. We were able to see the studio anyway, lol.
