Sally and I made it to Yaroslavl yesterday. The trip from dallas, through frankfurt to moscow was smooth. we found our contact, Igor, easily and he gave us a ride 4 hours northeast to yaroslavl. we sat next to a romanian man on the plane to frankfurt who was in the process of raising support to build an orphange in romania. he was a christian. it was very encouraging to meet someone like-minded in the midst of all the confusion. serafima, our host, is incredibly hospitable and enjoys having us there. we start russian language lessons tomorrow which will enable us to communicate better with her and everyone else. we hope to visit the orphanage tomorrow, and are in the process of buying the train tickets we need to get to china. please pray for this to go well. thats all ive got for now.
