| You'd think we'd be all churched out - but no, each one is different and all so steeped in history.
We climbed the very steep hill yet again (4 days in a row!) to reach the Cathedral which was free today as it is Heritage weekend and some tourist attractions have free entry for the day. Their library was open and they had a couple of medieval manuscripts on display, so I was in my element. A bit disappointed I couldn't take photos.
Then it was back to the boat, have lunch and prepare to depart Lincoln.
A lovely few days.
This waterfall/fountain is on the waterfront and it rotates. The bowls also empty out when full of water. It appears to be based on one of the Chinese bamboo waterfalls.
We are now at Saxilby, a small town half way between Lincoln and Torksey.
