After leaving the lovely city of Alghero, we traveled to Oristano via Bosa. We stayed at a period hotel. We were some of the fortunate ones where everything in our hotel room worked.

On Wednesday, we stopped at the Roman ruins of Tharros. Yesterday we toured an archeology museum and then headed to the airport for a flight to Rome and then another to Palermo. Our first flight was late and then we missed the second one. There was room on a later flight so we arrived at our hotel about 10 pm.

Today we toured the city with stops at several churches with Arab-Norman architecture. Oh, and a monument to commemorate the victims of the mafia. And the pope is visiting here tomorrow. So all the streets near us will be closed so we will have to walk out of here tomorrow am. Nobody has told us how long the walk will be but we have to take most of our luggage to the bus tonight. Fun!
