Bill and Mary Ann's truck camper retirement travel blog

We paddled out from our site and headed back to the access area at about 10 am. We saw at least 8 eagles flying and squawking on the way back. We got picked up by the Ely Outfitters can at 12:30 after another confusing paddle back. Luckily another canoe was heading out and we followed their route. We got back to Ely and unloaded and headed south. Made it to the city park in Nashwauk, MN. $20 night for water and electric with a dump station. Not the wilderness but our little home feels good!
