Tues., July 10th – Okay, so this area isn’t the most scenic of our journey. Nevertheless, we find ways to fill our days. We started with a really hearty breakfast at the Governor’s Restaurant recommended by the dealership where Bruce was getting his oil changed. It was a great choice. Our only touristy (not sure that’s a word) thing for today was a walk through Bangor’s Cole Land Transportation Museum. You know you’re getting old when you see vehicles on display you remember from your childhood….or better yet, one that came out the year your first child was born. I sent a picture to Reid and asked if it made him feel old. His reply was, “No, it makes me feel classic!” LOL
Tomorrow we head for Gorham, New Hampshire and the White Mountains. We're looking forward to exploring new territory.
