The Top of the World Highway connects Dawson City, Yukon to Tok, Alaska. The road covers 187 miles & meanders along the mountain tops. Views from the highway are breathtaking at times, sometimes your traveling on asphalt, sometimes gravel. Orange flags are placed along the roadside, when you see them...you might want to slow down. Pot holes, heaves & just plain rough spots are present. We only drove to Dawson City in the Yukon & back, it was quite a trip.
