Venice

Do I have to leave!! Venice is so unique and interesting. So easy to get lost, they don’t really get the map concept, but really who cares I can’t think of a better place to get lost. The Italian food is killing me!!! Yum 𿘋 cannelloni with spinach and ricotta.. incredible. Geoff’s in heaven, seafood pasta most nights!! We took a boat to visit some of the near by islands ( only 3 of the 117 ) first stop was Murano the home of the famous Murano glass, we watched them blowing and creating amazing pieces including the prancing pony.. we wandered around for a while just soaking up the atmosphere and of course the shops, then on to a little village called Torcello, very quaint and small with churches, ruins, canals and apparently the oldest mosaics in the Venetian islands, last stop was Burano by far my favourite, the most colourful of all islands, everywhere you look is a different colour building, a lace shop, a glass shop and Italian Mummas just doing their thing.. still had canals and narrow streets but no where near as busy as Venice. We found the best time to go out in Venice was morning or night!! Midday was mayhem.. the Italian sales started today !! Yikes.. so who was I to resist! 𴘈𿘂 girls you would be proud!! I bought a Max Mara dress and D&G sunglasses 𿕶 woohoo .. and some kiko Milano make up .. apparently Firenze is best for shopping.. yay 𿘀 can’t wait !!! Xxx
