All ready to head to Pahrump

Paddy in his spot

On Hwy 95

Pretty view

A section of Lake Havasu

Almost to the California border, but won't be in the state long

Another section of Hwy 95

Goodbye California !

In Searchlight, NV, pretty blooming Palo Verde tree

There a new section of Interstate 11 being constructed & this decco...

Traffic is light so far, but then we're not quite in Vegas...

Looking at the Vegas Strip from a distance

On Hwy 160

Rugged mountains

Couldn't believe we saw these mountain goats along the roadside

Almost to Pahrump, not much to see

We arrived

Like an oasis in the desert

Roger & ReeAnn are set up

Pete finishing setting up the rig....time to play

After a 222 mile trip to Quartzsite & a very quiet & restful night we got up early this morning & headed for Pahrump, Nevada. We are staying at Lakeside RV Resort, Pete & I have stayed here before ( it once was Terrible's Lakeside RV Resort, but obviously it has new ownership).

Today we traveled 275 miles, it was a relaxing drive until we hit Vegas, then it turned into a survival of the fitness (just kidding)...lets just say it was busy. We did get a chance to see a couple of mountain sheep right on the roadside (on Hwy 160)that was a nice surprise.

The four of us are here for 3 nights, we've already gotten in some Casino time (no big wins here) & we've taken a walk through the RV Park. We took Roger & ReeAnn for a drive into town, some things have not changed since the last time we were here, but there has been some growth.
