Bonsai

Bob the budgie

Glasshouse mountain

Biaha

Trev & Gaye

Finn and Tony did get to go fishing on Tuesday after school, even though it was a bit drizzly. Finn caught a 30cm catfish which was returned to the water. So he was very pleased with himself.

We departed Lennox Head on Wednesday morning and made our way to Bribie island with a couple of stops along the way to purchase a water filter and some impellers to take back with us.

Tony trimmed the bonsai to within an inch of it's life! !!!

Bob is very healthy and happy and has forgotten all about me, Jane looks after him so well.

We spent some time yesterday repacking our suitcases to try to fit everything in. And we're not overweight! !

This morning Jane had to work so we decided to make a quick trip up to Mooloolaba to see Trev and Gaye on Biaha.

Passing the Glasshouse mountains along the way.

Trev picked us up in the tender and we went out to the boat, anchored in the river. Gaye had decided to cook up some brownies and it smelled delicious as we boarded. However the gas had inadvertently been turned off while Gaye was cleaning up, so we nearly missed out on tasting the brownies. They were delicious-still warm and ready just in time.

Then we went back to Jane's and after lunch went for a lovely walk along the sea side, stopping for ice cream down by the jetty.

Then to the airport and Mick and Peg popped over to see us before we went through to the dark side!

What a great 4 weeks we've had. So much catching up, it's been wonderful.
