|Sea day Mon June 11
We were up about 6 am. Cloudy and cool this am, but inside is nice. Nice breakfast assortment. I had my usual of omelet, part of a muffin, fresh fruit, yogurt, as well as a delicious small Belgian waffle, gingerbread flavor of the day with strawberries on too. Of course lots of coffee. We walked around for a while. We saw the nice hydro pool so Jim was going to do that. Turns out, someone failed to close the door when we went in to look. So that's why we got in.... $139 per person for the week. Guess not! We'll use free hot tubs!
They have a free nice navigator type app with info on what to do, menus, etc. It also has a chat feature. The library area has a nice place to sit and read, as well as a nice selection of books, games, and puzzles. We found a great place on deck 10, right at the front of the ship, to sit and read sometimes while enjoying the view. This afternoon we enjoyed the hot tub. There's one pool that is slightly heated and covered, filled with kids, but that's ok as it was not warm enough for me. There also is an outside pool and hot tubs. The indoor hot tub was nice. There are 3 of them inside, but they are small. With 3 adults, not much leg room. The sea was a little rough this am but much smoother this afternoon. We got free smoothies (not very good) as we have a free drink package, and did some reading. Tonight was the Gala dinner. I had escargot and Jim had some type of ham appetizer. We both had stuffed shells. Again tonight, they brought a cake for our anniversary and sang (in Indonesian language). The captain sent us a card too, so assume cake was from him... there was a singing/dancing show that was entertaining, but not real impressive. Early to bed after show. Tired from little sleep last night. Glacier Bay in the am.
