The 'Heart' reef. Seeing the Great Barrier Reef like this was incredible.

Weighing up all our options, we decided the best way to see the Southern end of the Great Barrier Reef was to go on a ‘panoramic tour’ with Air Whitsundays. We took off in a sea plane from Shute Harbour Airport, landing at Whitehaven Beach and on the reef at Hardy Lagoon. It was an amazing experience. Neither words nor photos will do it justice!
