In our experience, islands always ‘deliver’ and Fraser Island was no exception. It is the largest sand island in the world (120kms long and 15kms wide) and the only place where rain forest grows on sand. It has a population of 190. We took a day-tour with three other people and our 4WD driver/guide, Wayne. It was amazing.
