Last night, Shelly suggested that we go and collect Qianyu together, from kindergarten. Little one loves to have two grannies to collect her. So I went and waited at the hairdressing shop for Shelly, and filled time taking phone photos of leaves. I love the close up features on my phone.

I wanted her to help me to buy some of the gel for my hair, like what he had used when he cut it. But he has no small container. He will have it by tomorrow, and Shelly will collect it for me, when she goes back for a deep treatment for her hair.

On we went to the kindy, and Qianyu was waiting for us, and ready to go home. We waited for ages for a bus, but eventually found our way to Grandma's house for dinner. Little Auntie is cooking, and I am sure it will be good. It always is.

Of course, we did have a very nice dinner. Guangdong Chinese soup, which they were surprised to discover I like very much. Shelly's husband David does not like Chinese soups as he says they are only water!! Different to what we usually have, but I enjoy the differences. And they had a fish dish that I really liked. It was minced fish, made up into a type of a fish cake, then fried, and sliced up. No bones makes a big difference, and the frying seems to give it a good flavour, which I do not often find here in Zhaoqing.

After dinner, Denise, Gary, Shelly and Shelly's young sister tried to teach me how to play Mahjong. Maybe I got a bit of a hang of it, but still need a lot of tuition to learn. Being tired already probably did not help at all. But they are kind enough to try and teach me!!

And then halfway through, Grandma asked if I would like her to teach me to paint like she does. I had to say that I would love to learn, but was too tired to concentrate. Maybe there will be another chance. I hope so.

Denise walked me out to the bus stop, and I got a bus back home, for a well-deserved rest!!
