Ulladulla Harbour

Hi All,

We have had a week with 2 good ladies and their husbands, that at the age of 17 Anne and the girls started her nursing training with in 1969. Now 49 years later they like us are married, had kids, have grand kids, are retired and have caravans which like us we all occupied for a week together. Many stories were told, laughs were had and we had a great time. Thanks for a great week Kathy and Brian, Wendy and Eddie. We were at a coastal village 100kms south of Wollongong near Ulladulla at Lake Conjola, a very pretty place with a abundance of wildlife.

Our plans were from there to go south and beyond but that changed. Regretfully a dear friend at home who was unwell before we left was diagnosed with the dreaded Cancer word. It had apparently progressed beyond the treatment stage and he is now at home on palliative care. As he and his wife are very dear friends we have decided to go back to be with them as long as needed.

So the trip will be over in 2 days as we are doing a 3 day drive home and this will be the last journal until we get reorganised and leave again on yet another adventure which of course we are currently thinking about and planning.

Until later this year when we start again.
