Hi All,

Here we go again another trip, another adventure, more to explore, people to visit, photos to take and things to be done. Hopefully this trip will be about 3 months, travelling down the east coast of NSW then having a good look around Victoria. Apart from the 1st week the next 4 will be focused on visiting family and friends down the NSW coast.

The first week was planned to start very intentionally to unwind from the rigors of retirement with a week in a favorite spot 280kms south of home in a caravan park. The park is very big with huge sites, abundant bird life and of course in Australia kangaroos, very friendly ones too. We stayed here with travelling friends Barry and Lois who will be doing different things once we leave here tomorrow. Additionally the park is just off the beach(unpatrolled) and even has its own 9 hole golf course but we did not pay as it was either too hot or too wet. There is also a small shop and cafe, its the whole deal.

In the course of our stay we found there was a huge farming area that we did not know about not far from the caravan park. Its massive and is all one company specialising in blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. Driving around there were literally hundreds of cars of the workers, for coastal undulating country an amazing area. The sites combined would have occupied hundreds of hectares.

From here tomorrow we are off to Newcastle to continue the trip.
