Green Hills

A light dusting of snow covered the boat when we arose, and the nearby hills were white.

We rented a car today and went off to get a few things, then went to Skipton for lunch with the intention of going to the market - but I got my days mixed up and the market was yesterday (or tomorrow!).

Not to worry, we'll find one tomorrow somewhere.

Then we drove to Malham, had a walk around the village and then drove up across the top of Malham Tarn.

Spectacular views all around.

Had to be aware of the wandering sheep.

This cave looks interesting.

And the limestone rock formation is also interesting.

We followed this truck for a few miles and it was a tight fit in some spots!

And amongst all the snow there are areas of lush green unaffected by the snow. all depends which side of the hill you live on.
