Ended the day with drinks by the Bay!

Today we took a dinner cruise with the Kahligs from South Padre Island across Laguna Madre Bay, thru the shipping lanes and into the port of Brownsville Texas. In the port we were able to see vessels loading and unloading from all over the world, decommissioned navel vessels being dismantled from the top down and oil rigs being built and repaired. We learned about the shrimping industry and the operations of a busy port. Also while crossing the bay we were able to see quite a few native Bottlenose Dolphins -although there were hard to catch on camera! We were treated to a "Shrimp Boil" meal on board the boat- a good time had by all.
